My name is Kevin Laubach, a graphic designer living in Northwest, NJ. My work includes: website design and development, logos and branding, product and food packaging, traditional and digital illustration, and print advertising. I don’t specialize in any one area, but I enjoy all aspects of graphic design.
When I first met my wife, we only had a few minutes to talk, however, I managed to get an email address from her. So, the first time emailing someone you don’t know--what do you say? I decided to tell her about me--my hopes, my dreams, my goals--starting from childhood to the present. It worked. We’ve been married since 1999 and have three wonderful children, a cat and a dog. I guess I’ll do the same here, without the prospects of marriage.
As a child, I loved making things with my hands. Give me a pencil and a piece of paper, and the possibilities were endless. Give me crayons, markers, paint, scissors, lego, car model kits, and I could spend countless hours creating a masterpiece. Growing up, the people in my life inspired me to follow my passion and pursue art as a livelihood.
I graduated from Antonelli Institute of Graphic Design & Photography with a degree in commercial art and landed a job with a printing company just out of school. I entered my vocation just as computers started to become the "way of the future" in graphic design. My skills developed quickly and allowed me to work on a wide range of creative projects.
For more then 20 years, I've worked in the graphic arts industry with agencies, design studios, and more recently, freelancing. My experience ranges from small businesses and nonprofit organizations to large corporations. As my work will show, I've worked on a variety of projects: website design and development, logos and branding, product and food packaging, traditional and digital illustration, and print advertising. I don’t specialize in any one area, but I enjoy all forms of graphic design.
I mostly use Adobe Creative Suite 5 and work on both Mac and Windows operating systems. I’m fluent in HTML and CSS (currently learning HTML5 and CSS3) and dabble in WordPress, PHP, JQuery and Flash. I enjoy learning new things and facing the challenge. I still love working with my hands whether with a pencil, paper or Trackpad.
Now that you know a little about me, let’s talk about you--your hopes, your dreams, your goals--for your business, ministry or organization. Take the first step! Please contact me about your next project. My desire is to use my talents and creativity to help you meet your marketing goals.
I look forward to chatting with you about your next project over a cup of coffee ... either in person or via FaceTime.
